19 of October 1993 Andre Besnier founded the dairy and cheese factory in Laval city (north West of France). 34 liters of milk was collected at the first day, which turned in 17 units of Camembert cheese (Le petit Lavallois).

Fanni brand became part of Lactalis in 2007 after the acquisition of milk plant in Pavlograd. Fanni products are delicious and healthy products for the whole family. Fanni includes wide range of products produced in Pavlograd and Mykolaiv: yoghurt, kefir, milk, sour cream, glazed curds, tworog based mass.

Hard and processed cheeses are produced under the “Shostka” brand. And so that the consumer can easily decide on his favorite taste, hard cheeses are divided into the Russian group and the Dutch group.
The Russian group included: Russian classical, Shostka, Rytsar. Cheeses contain 50% fat, have a yellow color and a creamy, salty taste. And the Dutch group has a slightly sweet taste and contains 45% fat. This group includes Holland and Gouda cheeses. They will be a real delight for cheese connoisseurs.

But it is interesting to look into the past and learn about the first production methods.
