Lactalis Ukraine took part in the 33rd Charity Run Under the Chestnuts

For the Lactalis Ukraine team, the “Chestnut Run” marked a major milestone—their largest volunteer and sports event to date.

This year’s fundraising campaign focused on acquiring a video laryngoscope—critical equipment for the safe intubation of infants and children with severe respiratory conditions. As Serhiy Chernyshuk, a Honored Doctor of Ukraine and pediatric anesthesiologist, noted: “Sometimes, this is the only way to safely intubate young patients. It directly impacts their safety and chances of recovery.”

Together, the following amounts were raised:

• UAH 2,400,000 — thanks to “Chestnut Run” participants
• UAH 580,000 — additional contributions from partners

This means the Cardiac Center will be able to purchase not only basic equipment but also an advanced configuration—resulting in even greater capacity to save children’s lives.

This year, the run brought together participants from 39 countries and 79 Ukrainian cities—a true community of caring people.

Among them were 238 participants from Lactalis Ukraine: 178 employees and 60 family members representing 10 Ukrainian cities, contributing a total of UAH 102,000.
